Jeffrey, 2 1/2 years old, is spending some time with us with his Mom, Amanda, and brother, Jackson. Jeffrey is every bit of 2 1/2 years old! He loves to run and play, chase my pups, color, watch Blues Clues and take his Mother to the edge. After all, Dad is away so the boy can play! We had dinner last night that consisted of cheeseburgers, fries and a special milkshake waiting for Jeff when he finished his dinner. I had the milkshake at my plate, waiting to reward him. Jeff ate some of his cheesebooger and tired of that activity so he said he was finished and started toward the milkshake. Of course, his Mother was firm with him and told him he needed to eat another 1/4 of the cheesebooger before he got down. Well, he looked at her and promptly got down so I said "Come over here Jeff and I'll help you finish your burger". He came over, I pushed back my chair and began pulling very small pieces from the burger to feed to Jeff. After two bites (and both Mom and Grandad were not looking), Jeff said to me...."Grandma, can I feed the dog too?". At that moment, Grandad and Mom looked at me only to realize that I was sneaking the cheeseburger to the dog. So, I gave Jeffrey the milkshake and the pups were satisfied with their cheesebooger!
