How do I begin to talk about the love of my life? I met Glenn when I was 14 years old. He was 16 and getting his driving permit. I would sit in the backseat of his Dad's car while Glenn drove and his Dad sat in the front coaching him. I was 16 years old when Glenn and his Dad took me to my first opera....I was dressed in a homemade blue velvet dress, my hair up in curls and Glenn was in his USMC uniform. We married when I was 18 years old and Glenn was 20. It would be a long blog if I don't fast forward 40 years but I can tell you that I am still that girl in the blue velvet dress to him and he is still that tall young man in the USMC uniform to me. Glenn is the nicest man I know. He is gentle and kind and so patient. Sounds like a greeting card but he truly exhibits those qualities, everyday. He loves his children, in fact, he feels like Glenn Jr. is his best friend. I can't begin to tell you how he feels about his "girls", Rebekah and Sarah. He says that they are his forever valentines! Glenn loves motorcycles...he looks great on his motorcycle! He loves to ride with me on the back and explore the countryside. He is the grandfather of 11 grandchildren and can tell you a special quality about each one. We've been married 40 years....we are excited to see each other at the end of each workday and look forward to talk on the phone each morning. I can't imagine a day without him. I can't imagine a moment without him. He is the love of my life....forever.
